Our Year 4 children have worked with Ms Harris, our ICT and e-Learning Consultant to become our digital leaders in school. The role of a digital leader is to promote the use of technology in school and to help and teach others to use it.
The first task they completed was how to take high quality photographs thinking about what's in the background, lining it up properly and focussing the camera. Then they moved on to cropping, editing and using the markup tool to add arrows and text. Then they learned how to airdrop images to another device.
The children also practised their programming skills using Indi Sphero robots. This was lots of fun and they went on to lead a session with younger children in school to teach basic programming principles.
